CLINICAL SCIENCES
In our veterinary faculty, which has been providing active education and clinical services for 14 years, continues to increase its service quality today with its main branches of science under the roof of clinical sciences, where it comes together with patients and their owners to provide health services, its academic staff and medical facilities that have developed over the past years.
In addition to routine outpatient
clinic services, the departments within the scope of clinical sciences, which
successfully carry out many surgical interventions within their means, have
expanded their field of activity in recent years by establishing the relevant
department in order to provide services for domestic animal species as well as
wild animal species.
The all departments under the
clinical sciences continue to successfully provide both routine health services
and academic research studies. The academic staff of the Department of Clinical
Sciences, which continues to provide routine health services in the animal
hospital within the faculty, provides medical support to the number of patients
that has been constantly increasing over the years, while the distinguished
scientific research produced by the academic staff supports our faculty's goal
of achieving the success of being constantly at the top of the veterinary
education in our country.
The activities of the departments
providing academic research, education and health services within the
Department of Clinical Sciences also contribute positively to the social
recognition of our university, both locally and nationally. In order to ensure
the uninterrupted effectiveness of the health services it provides, the medical
services of the "Emergency" unit, which is being established in
connection with our animal hospital, are being put into practice with the
support of the academicians of the Department of Clinical Sciences, and it is
planned that our domestic and wild animals that need service from our faculty
will receive uninterrupted health services, and all necessary steps are being
taken for this purpose. Our faculty, which continues its activities with the
aim of training students to become successful veterinarians, also strives to
continuously develop the necessary medical infrastructure opportunities for our
students, who are intended to benefit fully from the theoretical and practical
knowledge of the academicians of the clinical sciences department.
A total of 17 academicians,
including 7 professors, 3 associate professors, 4 assistant professors and 3
research assistants, in 5 departments under the roof of the Department of
Clinical Sciences, continue their medical and academic activities without interruption
in the animal hospital polyclinics where relevant branches provide service.
